I don't know if anyone has noticed, but we can now use access keys to help us navigate the quicknote boxes. For example, Pressing Alt+U will set focus to the 'Sent To' combo box. I was thinking that something similar may help navigate the form that the premium members can fill out for quick note history. There are 15 fields that we have to tab through before we get to the 'Display Quicknotes' button. I know it could be applied else where like at the login page, creating a new topic at the boards page, ect. However; the quicknote history page seems to have the most fields to tab through so far. Just a thought... -- JGriffith
What is it, alt-s to send Quicknotes? Seems to me that whatever the send/OK button is on a apge that it should have the same key.
no. i like j's idea. i mean who wants to be fillibng in forms all the time?
You would not even need to apply the AccessKey attribute to every field. Just the signifigant ones. Like the UserName, Text to be searched for, ect. I also think that it would help to apply this attribute to the first listbox in the date and time fields only because the user can tab through the rest of the date and time options without any problems. My reasoning is that just getting them to the signifigant controls would speed up the navigation of this particular form. -- JG
